I began my broadcasting career as a college drop-out in the early 90's. After a brief stint studying civil engineering in Fargo North Dakota I knew that bridges and highways were not going to take me where I wanted to go. I moved to Minneapolis in 1990 and began studying Journalism so I could learn to tell stories of real people living real lives. And in that pursuit, living life my own real life, rolling burritos by day I began spinning records on weekends and overnights at Cities 97 in Minneapolis. That's where I found my true calling. I have enjoyed interviewing many characters and artists over the years, from Pat Paulson and Jarad.(yes that Jarad) to Chris Martin and Bruce Hornsby. I still search for the truth everyday - one record at a time.
